This training was opened by UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec. In his speech, he expected that through this event, UII lecturers’ could develop their pedagogical skill and improve their competence in comprehensive learning process. “This training is well conducted since it is one of program to realize the UII strategic plan in attaining achievement as teaching university and research university.” He emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean of Faculty of Islamic Study UII, Drs. Nanang Nuryanta, M.Pd also delivered the material concerning components of fundamental assessment principles, assessment model, and assessment technique. The training participant was given opportunity to deliver presentation explaining course outline, teaching and learning methods and strategies, and assessment component. The training was ended by the UII Vice Rector II, Nandang Sutrisna, SH. MHum. LLM. Ph.D. He gave a gift toward the FPSB dean, Sus Budiarto, M.Psi, Psi as the best participant, Puji Rahayu, S.Pd., UII English diploma lecturer as best presenter, and the head of Statistic program, Kariyam, S.Si., M.Si as the favorite participant. To achieve predicate as excellent teaching university, Board of Academic Development of Islamic University of Indonesia (BPA UII) conducted training program to improve lecturer pedagogical competence on Wednesday, November 2 at Faculty of Law post graduate building, UII Cik Di Tiro Campus. The head of UIIM Academic Development Board, Dr. Ir. Sugini, MT. IAI, stated that our target was 40 participants who will join this training, however there were 38 participants taking part in this training. “This training would be held four times every year.” She added. .jpg "Image")
In this occasion, Dr. Ir. Sugini, MT. IAI., as the first speaker led the discussion on course outline arrangement implementation. Furthermore, the second speaker was Dra. Sri Haningsih, M.Ag, the head of BPPAI UII. She explained about the teaching and learning methods and strategies, teaching models, teaching and learning interactions, teaching technique, and models of classroom management.
