The first discussion session was opened by Dr. Salman Luthan, S.H, MH. He explained about the fundamental value of Law consisting of independence, justice, and togetherness. According to him, these kinds of values were appropriate with our religious guidance which based on prophetic concept.

Meanwhile, Ahimsa Putra also explained further about the concept of prophetic science. He also stated that the existing prophetic science nowadays was triggered by the disputation which occurred among Islamic scholars debating theology concept that is conventional theology concept versus transformative theology concept.

From this discussion, there are a lot of things which could be learning. The audience also expected that this discussion will be conducted again. Hence, PSH-FH UII planned to conduct the discussion concerning Prophetic Law Studies in order to criticize the social sciences and thought, especially prophetic law studies.
