The delegation of Husnul Khotimah’ Islamic Boarding School was represented by Mu`tamad, Lc. Al Hafidz (head of organization), Alfan Syafi`i, Lc., M.Pd.I. (head of higher education division), Dwi Basuki Natsir, Lc. (head of facilities division), Sanwani SH. (head of human resources division), Soelaiman, S.Th. I (Madrasah Tsanawiyah headmaster), Elva Robi, Lc. (secretary of higher education division), Maksudi Nawawi, Lc. (head of curriculum division), Misbahun Zein (treasurer staff), Ahmad Dani (public relation staff).
Furthermore, Ir Bachnas, MSc. added that UII provide scholarship to promote smart students from poor family to continue study in university. However, there are several requirements for applying the scholarship. The candidates must have achievement in academics field such as fluent in foreign language (English or Arab) and others. UII as the private Islamic universities also teach morality and Islamic values towards its students. There are several Islamic development programs including Baca Tulis Al Quran (BTAQ), pesantrenisasi. At the end of conversation, the representative of ‘Husnul Khotimah’ Islamic Boarding School delegation, Alfan Syafi`i, Lc., M.Pd.I., mentioned that Islamic University of Indonesia become a good role model in establishing Islamic higher educations institution. “We expect relationship between UII with Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School can be closer,” he said. The event then continued with UII campus tour. The delegation of Husnul Khotimah Islamic Boarding School was accompanied by UII public relations staff to visit UII Faculties building, UII Library, Museum, UII Laboratories, Ulil Albab Mosque and others. Islamic University of Indonesia welcomed ‘Husnul Khotimah’ Islamic Boarding School, Kuningan, Jawa Barat on Thursday, December 1. In this occasion, UII Vice Rector III, Ir Bachnas, MSc explained a brief history of UII as well as the information about academic activities in UII toward the delegation. UII as the one of old universities in Indonesia always welcome while receiving freshman applicants from different race, ethnic, and culture. “The achievement of UII can be denoted from the fact that on 2011, UII received 4.567 freshmen,” he said.
