According to Ainul Helmi F., SH., Law number 8 of 1999 concerning consumers’ protection, chapter 3, article 4 states a guarantee for consumers including the right to obtain “correct, clear and honest information”, to have their complaints heard, to have their disputes settled. This act also regulates the use of standard clauses in consumer agreements. The second session of this discussion was continued by Awaludin, SH. He stated that if housing developers do not provide honest information to the consumers. The consumers have right to complain and report it to Consumer Dispute Settlement Board (BPSK). “This agency has duties to investigate consumer protection disputes to settle consumer disputes through mediation, arbitration or conciliation.” He emphasized. The discussion then continued with questions and answer session. There were many questions coming from the audience. They asked about the procedure for judicial process and mediation procedure.
