Saxion University of Applied Sciences Holds Presentation: Attract UII Students E-mail

ImageIn order to implement further collaboration between two universities, Saxion University  of Applied Sciences, The Netherlands on Thursday (02/23). Located at Dekanat Meeting room, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning,  Ms. Jasja Bos,MSc, Recruitment and Partnerships Officer International Office of  Saxion University  of Applied Sciences and Ms. Tina Purnomo, Representative of Saxion University in Indonesia was warmly welcomed by UII faculty leaders.

Also attending in this event were Vice Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTSP), Ir. Hanif Budiman, MT, Head of Master Program FTSP, Prof. Ir. Widodo MSCE., Ph.D , Secretary of Civil Engineering Study Program, Miftahul Fauziah, S.T., M.T., Ph.D, Head of Environmental Engineering Study Program, Luqman Hakim, S.T, M.Si, Directorate of Marketing, Collaboratioon, and Alumnae Affair UII Director, Fitri Nugraheni, S.T, M.T, Ph.D, Manajer Development Program International Program UII, Rebecca Meckelburg,BA and Manager of International Office UII, Nihlah Ilhami, S.Pd.

In this occasion, the two parties also held brief discussion led by Prof. Ir. Widodo MSCE., Ph.D, to deliver overview concerning academic collaboration in the form of dual degree program (3+1), master program, and student exchange program. According to Ms. Jasja Boss, Msc, the students who want to pursue dual degree program in Saxion University of Applied Sciences will receive partial scholarship, in the amount of 3000 Euros for a year in Netherland. Moreover, they will have an oppurtunity to take internship program.

“After completing their study in Saxion University  of Applied Sciences, they must take internship program to apply their skill academic knowledge received during their studies. Morever, they are allowed to work at any companies in Netherland for a maximum one and a half year.  They will also receive average salary based on office standard in the Netherland.” She uttered.

During their visit to UII, the delegation of Saxion University of Applied Sciences also held presentation for UII students. They delivered about Saxion University of Applied Sciences profile. Located at auditorium of Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, this event attracted a huge crowd of UII students, especially FTSP students. The audiences were seen enthusiastic and motivated to know how to study at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, The Netherland.
