UII Conducts MVVM Workshop with ESQ Leadership Center E-mail

ImageIslamic University of Indonesia (UII) on Wednesday (02/29) conducted MVVM (Mission, Vision, Value, Meaning) Workshop. Located at Prof. Sardjito Building, UII main Campus, this workshop featured President Director of ESQ Leadership Center, Ary Ginanjar Agustian and his entourage. Also attending in this workshop were, UII Rector, Vice Rector, Dean and Vice Dean at UII, Directors, and Head of Division.

UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec., in his opening remark mentioned this workshop aimed to reinforce University vision toward UII as a mercy to the worlds, aspiring to become an internationally recognized university committed to perfection and Islamic values in the fields of education, research, community services, and da’wah. Thus, exemplary leader is required in order to implement university vision. Prof. Edy, also stated that this workshop was expected to promote UII’s corporate culture which upholds Islamic values including honesty, responsibility, self-discipline, commitment, and loyalty.

Still according to Prof. Edy, the purpose of MVVM workshop was also to enhance UII’s corporate culture and to deliver leadership training for UII management. “No one is perfect, but we have to move on to practice makes perfect.” He stressed out.

In addition, UII will publish book entitled “UII’s Corporation Cultures”. UII’s corporate culture emphasizes how Islamic values are applied by UII employee and embodied in organizational relationship. In this occasion, Ary Ginanjar Agustian also highly appreciated UII’s goals to become the first university in the world which inculcate Islamic values in UII’s. “If UII can pursue its excellent vision, in the future UII can nurture graduates who can look to the success of UII alumni like Prof Mahfudz and Busyro Muqodass.” He added.
