Also attending in this opening ceremony were Vice Rector I, Nandang Sutrisno, SH., LLM., M.Hum., Ph.D, Vice Rector III, Ir. Bachnas, M.Sc and several UII faculty leaders as well as the committee of this event. Prof. Edy stated in Indonesia about 600 thousand people or 76% from labour force was educated unemployed people. “Campus hiring not only aims to help the jobseeker to find appropriate jobs, but also to help the companies/employer to hire excellent employee candidates. In addition, this event also gives opportunities to companies introducing their company profile.”
Meanwhile, Ir. Bambang Sulistiono, MSCE, Head of Alumni Manpower division, in this opportunity also mentioned that this event involving 22 prominent companies in Indonesia intended to facilitate the companies employing the candidates who have good skill and fulfill the qualifications. In addressing this problem, Alumni Career Center (ACC), Islamic University of Indonesia in collaboration with JobsDB.com hosted campus hiring offering job opportunities for jobseekers. This statement was revealed by UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec, while opening Campus Hiring on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Kahar Mudzakir Auditorium, UII main campus.
