To take part in developing the location where the fieldwork takes place, lecturer at Universitas Islam Indonesia were urged to supervise their students in conducting good research proposal which then may be funded by other parties. For this reason, this workshop aimed at giving information to lecturer at UII before supervising their students writing grant proposal.

This statement was confirmed by Dra. Suhartini, M.Si, the coordinator of fieldwork of UII when delivered her presentation in front of the audiences including lecturer at UII as well as fieldwork supervisor. This event which was hosted by Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM-UII) on Tuesday (4/3) entitled Fieldwork Proposal Preparation Workshop. Located at DPPM meeting room, this workshop was opened by Dr.-Ing.Ir Widodo, M.Sc as the director of DPPM UII.

“This program is expected to encourage student’s empathy and awareness and urge the students to deliver positive contribution in society as well as establish learning community.” She uttered.
Meanwhile, the other speaker, Dr. Wisnu Nurcahyo, who is also UGM lecturer in this occasion, explained the material about field work proposal preparation concerning on proposal methodology, strategy for getting grant proposal funded. He mentioned that the best grant proposal have to meet the academic standard and define the clear object.
The other speaker featured in this workshop was Khusniyah Purwani, SE.,M.Si., who explains the sample of best grant proposal and also describes the strategic planning in winning the grant from DIKTI (directorate general of higher education). Besides, Setya Winarno, Ph.D. as the speaker also highlighted about community service program of DPPM UII.
