| 'UII-UMI Makassar are Sibling’: UII Rector |

The delegation of UMI consisting some of UMI leaders and staff of student was warmly welcomed by UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec. accompanied by the Vice Rector I, Nandang Sutrisno, SH, LLM, M.Hum, PhD and Vice-Rector III, Ir. Bachnas MSc. Also attending on this occasion, Director of Directorate of Talents, Interests, and Student Welfare (DPBMKM) Drs. AF Djunaidi, M.Ag, Head of Division of Personality DPBMKM, Dian Sari Utami, S.Psi, MA, as well as Director of the Directorate of Islamic Education and Development of Islam, dr. Agus Taufiqurrahman, M.Kes., Sp.S. Prof. Edy, in his opening remarks stated that UMI Makassar became one of higher education institution which has been working together with UII. Moreover, UMI has been regarded as UII. UII’s sibling. Therefore, UMI’s visit to UII was highly welcomed and appreciated. "UMI is such a good UII’s sibling since both universities commit to have a better relationship, related to both academic and others collaboration.” Rector uttered. Vice Rector III, Ir. Bachnas, M.Sc in this occasion explained about structure of organization as well as job descriptions of directorates and several units at Universitas Islam Indonesia. Ir Bachnas also described a brief explanation of the duties and functions of UII Vice Rector III. "One of the main duties of the Vice Rector III is to manage and maintain student and external affairs. Therefore, this position as Vice Rector III is regarded as student’s father." He said.
Meanwhile, Nandang Sutrisno, SH., LLM., Ph.D., said further about his duties and authority as Vice Rector I. The man who is also lecturer at Faculty of Law UII mentioned that Vice Rector I is in charge of managing academic affair UII and improving education quality in UII. Share this Article ...       |
Universitas Islam Indonesia welcomed the delegation from Universitas Muslim Indonesia (UMI) Makassar, led by Vice Rector II UMI, Prof. Dr. H. Gani Ahmad, SE, M.Si on Tuesday (9/4). The visit aimed at having comparative study on student affair issues at UII. Through this meeting, both parties shared information related issues in university management of both at UII and UMI Makassar.
