Attending in this ceremony, UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec, mentioned that clinical education that must be taken by every student at the Faculty of Medicine, is not only a prerequirement becoming a doctor but also is part of Catur Dharma (UII slogan) implementation, namely Teaching, Research, Community Service and Islamic Dakwah activities.
"After taking medical oath, all of new medical graduates can try to practice their medical and do not hesitate to consult with your supervisor when finds any difficulties or problems” Rector uttered. Still according to Rector, new medical graduates have to maintain their soft skill such as their manner and their communication skill to improve their performance when conduct health care service to patient. In addition, Dean of Medicine Faculty, dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, M.Kes stated that new medical graduates have to pass Indonesian Medical Competency Test (UKDI) before performing their profession as a doctor. “New medical’s graduates of UII must perform good ethical conduct and having excellences in Islam and professionalism.” She emphasized. Meanwhile, Director of RSUD (Regional Public Hospital) R. Goeteng Taroenadibrata, Purbalingga, dr. Nonot Mulyono, M.Kes., in this occasion also explained about the profile of this hospital that currently in movement to improve their facilities and infrastructures as well as increase the number of medical worker and specialist.
