ESQ Training for UII Students Delivers Many Benefits E-mail

ImageUII student of 2011/2012 were fortunate to participate in ESQ training since this training was very useful to improve students’ soft skill. Through this training, the students were asked to practice honesty, build visionary character and be able to adapt with their environment. This statement was revealed by UII Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec when delivers his opening remark at the 8th ESQ training for UII freshman.

Located at Kahar Muzakkir Auditorium UII Main Campus, this training was also attended by Director of Directorate of Talents, Interests, and Student Welfare, Drs. AF. Djunaedi, M.Ag and Head of Division of Islamic Development - DPPAI UII, Drs. Zamroni, MSI. “I think that back to being a student will be pleased. I envy today’s students who have a broad opportunity to join ESQ training which delivers many benefits to us.” Prof. Edy said.

According to him, hard skill (knowledge) was not enough. The implementation of student’s soft skill determines their academic success at UII as well as their competence after graduating. “Getting cum laude predicate is also essential for students as their goal. However, soft skill also determines your future career.” He emphasized

Prof. Edy also asked to the participants to implement the values and knowledge retrieved from this two-days training. Actually, this training provided many benefits for UII students to improve their intellectual, mental, and spiritual. “It is also hoped that UII student’s hard skill and soft skill of will develop better.” Rector expected
