For the second time since 2007, UII and Bank Mandiri again signed mutual partnership agreement in the areas of financial management and banking services. This cooperation activity was carried out to provide payment facilitation services for student and prospective student and offer salary payment service for staff and lecturer at UII.

The signing of MoU was conducted by UII Rector Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec along with Santoso Budi Riyanto on Bank Mandiri Group Head Regional Commercial Sales 2, on Friday (5/25) at Prof. Sardjito building, UII main campus. This agreement is valid for an initial period of one year, and it is automatically renewable.

Budi Santoso Riyanto said that this partnership aimed to support Universitas Islam Indonesia as one of top universities in Indonesia that is now continuing to develop for creating graduates with high competences.

"We do hope this collaboration can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial management of UII so that this institution will be able to manage its finances better," he said.

Meanwhile UII Rector, Prof Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec delivered his appreciation to Bank Mandiri as one of best partners of UII for many years. On this occasion, Prof. Edy also positively relished Bank Mandiri Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program which is Mandiri Young Entrepreneur Program. He mentioned that students of UII won this program.

"Some UII students have participated at this program. Fauzan Rachmansyah who was student of Faculty of Law UII becomes the 1^st winner of Wirausaha Muda Mandiri 2011 (Young Entrepreneurs Competition) category of students and culinary business. Alvin Fauzie was also the runner-up of creative category at this competition.” He confirmed.
