The new doctors were welcomed by UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec. and his entourages at ‘GBPH Prabuningrat’ Rectorate building on Tuesday (6/26). Also in attendance were Vice Rector II, Neni Meidawati, M.Sc. Ak., Vice Rector III, Ir. Bachnas M.Sc., Dean of Faculty of Industrial Technology, Ir. Gumbolo Hadi Susanto, M.Sc., Dean of Medicine Faculty, dr. Isnatin Miladiyah, Kes and Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics, Diana Wijayanti, SE., M.Sc. In the occasion, Prof. Edy Suandi Hamid conveyed this attainment signify that UII have continually made serious attempt enhancing lecturers quality and continuing good university governance. In line with the increasing number of doctors, UII commits to improve its performance toward UII vision and mission facing the global challenge. Furthermore, the new doctors are forced to deliver real contribution to UII by developing their knowledge, actively producing and publishing academic writing in journal. "This attempt can improve reputation of our university at national and international level." He emphasized There were six doctors attending in this event including Dr. Farida Hayati, M.Sc., Apt. (lecturer at FMIPA UII), Risdiyono, ST, M. Eng., Ph.D. (lecturer at FTI UII), Dr. Drs. Rohidin, M.Ag. (lecturer at FH UII), Dra. Sri Wartini, SH. M.Hum., Ph.D. (lecturer at FHUII), Dr. Drs. 10 teaching staffs at Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) have successfully pursued doctoral program at both local and abroad universities. Totally, UII now have 95 lectures with doctor predicate. This fact proves that UII continually strives to maintain and improve both teaching and learning quality assurance in order to create alumnae who have both excellent knowledge and competitiveness.
