Becoming a Part of Student Organization, KAHAM Must Take Bigger Role E-mail

ImageKlinik Advokasi dan Hak Asasi Manusia/KAHAM UII (Advocacy and Human Right Clinic) that was established on February 5, 2011 was originally the transformation of Faculty of Law study club. But recently, it has been inaugurated by Student Executive Board UII as one of student organization at UII.

Bringing the spirit to foster research, assessment and advocacy on human rights issues is the main purpose of KAHAM. Integrated as student organization, KAHAM is expected to make bigger role at both internal and external campus.

Located at GKU Prof.Sardjito building, UII main campus, the member of KAHAM period 2012/2013 was officially inducted on Friday (7/13). “We do hope, KAHAM can provide relevant education concerning advocacy and human rights with a comprehensive material.” As said by Ahmad Alfy Pratama, the new Director of KAHAM.

In his speech, Ahmad Alfy expressed that a new spirit of cooperation among all is needed to run the organization.

Director of Student Affair Division UII, Drs. AF. Djunaidi, M.Ag who also present at the inauguration ceremony, said that it is a must for the new board to strike a balance between rights and duties. "Your new duty is to run this organization in line with its vision and mission.” He emphasized

Also attending in this event were former Director of KAHAM Yayan Sumaryono, President of LEM UII Ahmad Sadily, Chairman of DPM UII, Mico Yuhansyah, and member of KAHAM.
