UII Graduates Expected Being Professional in Their Field of Study E-mail

ImageBaiq Leny Nopitasari, students of Pharmacy Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, obtained highest GPA of 3.87 and deserved to achieve ‘UII gold pin’ in Universitas Islam Indonesia graduation ceremony period VI academic year 2011/2012, on Saturday (7/14) at Kahar Mudzakkir Auditorium.

This event involved 425 graduates including 16 graduates from Diploma Program, 365 graduates from Undergraduate Program, and 44 graduates from Master Program. In the undergraduate program (S1), 93 graduates (25,47) graduates with cum laude predicate and 185 (50,68 %) finished their study on time. Prasidya Nur Windraya, student of Informatics Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology completed her study for 3 years and eight months.

In his remark, Rector Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid M.Ec asked UII graduates to maintain alma mater good name university by pursuing better future and careers for beneficial purpose to the society and country. UII graduates also are expected to uphold professionalism, honesty, and Islamic values.

ImageMeanwhile, representing Alumni UII, Chief of D.I. Yogyakarta Prosecutor's Office, Ali Muthohar, SH. MH., told UII graduates to become professional scholar who have good ethical conduct by introducing the positive culture, mindset and behavior.

"UII graduates have to be proud of being UII alumnae. They can master and practice both science and Islamic values. Thus, they are expected to become professional in their field of study.” He emphasized
