UII has obtained international accreditation, Integrated Laboratory Accreditation ISO 17025, for both of Integrated Laboratory and Environmental Engineering Laboratory at UII. UII became the first private universities in Indonesia that successfully attain this ISO certificates. Therefore, it is expected that both universities can share laboratory to conduct joint research collaboaration. This collaboration plans are arranged under MoU that was signed by UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec along with Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affair, Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Fadzil Mohammad Hani on Thursday (7/19) at Rectorate building, UII Main Campus. This partnership added mutual ties between UII and universities at Malaysia such as Malaysia such as Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affair, Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Fadzil Mohammad Hani declared assuredly that formal collaborations program along with UII will be conducted immediately. "I along with directors of UTP research centers coming to UII would be willing to offer joint research collaboration.” He said UTP also mentioned their appreciation for having partnership with UII as the oldest national university in Indonesia and one of the top universities in this country. |
