The provision in Higher Education Law that gives foreign universities the chance to establish university branches in Indonesia must be wisely handled by improving our readiness to face the competitive challenges and always upholding Islamic value. This statement was confirmed by UII Rector Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec when opened Coordination Meeting Faculty of Industrial Technology on Thursday (8/2). By conducting this coordination meeting, FTI has to seize any opportunities and challenges in education sector to reach institution’s goal stated on UII’s Strategic Plan. Rector emphasized that it is important to prioritize the previous program evaluation in preparing faculty work plan. "Before preparing a work plan, the previous evaluation work plan implementation is priority aspect in accomplishing accelerated implementation program.” He uttered
