Hajj is a magnificent form of physical worship. Good physical condition is important for Moslem when perform Hajj. The Hajj pilgrim are forced drinking enough water to avoid dehydration.
"The one and only best solution to prevent dehydration is drinking plenty of water". As told by Chairman of Badan Wakaf Foundation UII, Drs. H. Sunardi Syahuri acting as speaker at ‘Syawalan’ Gathering IKI-UII on Friday (9/7) at Prof. Sardjito Building, UII main campus.
In his preaching, Drs. Sunardi urged the participants who will perform Hajj this year to drink 25 glasses of water every during the Hajj since the climate is dry and hot in Makkah. “The hotter the weather, the more water you need to drink.” He said
Instead of preparing physical condition, it is a must for prospective pilgrim to go with a prepared hearth and patience. It is because Hajj is a one of five pillars of Islam and a great act of worship not annual vacation trip. Moreover, we have to be patience since there are large numbers of people there for Hajj that can drive us getting annoyed and bothered.
Syawalan Gathering is annual event organized by IKI UII (women organization of UII big family) to commemorate the Month of Syawal 1433 Hijriah and also to conduct farewell party for IKI member for will perform Hajj in this year.
