Professional Pharmacist Study Program (PSPA) of UII is the first study program in Indonesia to develop block system based learning system, Problem Based Learning (PBL), for professional pharmacist level. The curriculum of PSPA UII emphasizes practices through the Pharmacist Professional Work Practices (PKPA) supported by case based learning. The study program excels in the field of Health Promotion with practices in the community. The developed learning system provides spaces for students to learn real cases in the pharmaceutical practices by polishing communication as well as evidence based analytical and critical thinking soft skills. PSPA UII has partnered up with various domestic and foreign institutions (Pharmacies, Hospitals, Industries, Health Services, National Agency of Drug and Food Control, Community Health Centers, and Pharmaceutical Wholesalers) to support the Pharmacist Professional Work Practices.

Pharmacists can build their career in Pharmacies, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Industries, Government Agencies as Civil Servants (Health Services, Hospitals, Community Health Centers, and National Agency of Drug and Food Control), Drug Distribution (Pharmaceutical Wholesalers), Herbal Medicine Industries, and Education.

The admission process will be conducted in two phases following the schedule below:

The Result AnnouncementThe Result Announcement consists of the announcement of administrative selection results and the announcement of final results of the accepted new students. Students who pass the administrative selections may continue to the next stages of the test. Students who are announced as accepted in the first phase must register in the first phase as well. They might lose the rights as new students if they do not register on the specified schedule.

 

Requirements of Enrollment

For the Alumni of Bachelor of Pharmacy of UII

  • Graduated with the Grade Point Average (IPK) ≥ 2.5 and maximum duration of study of 5 years (especially for class of 2016) by attaching: Submitting a scan of the original diploma of bachelor degree or original bachelor degree completion certificate and a scan of the original academic transcript or the original study result card (KHS).
  • Has never participated or has participated not more than twice in the selection of Student Admissions for the Professional Pharmacist Study Program of UII (attaching : A statement letter with a stamp duty)
  • Physically healthy proven by a scan of the original Physical Health Certificate from the government agencies (Community Health Centers or Hospitals)
  • Mentally healthy proven by a scan of the original Mental Health Certificate from psychiatrists of the Government Hospitals
  • Submitting a drug-free certificate (a scan of the original drug-free certificate)
  • Minimum CEPT/TOEFL score of 450 (a scan of the original CEPT/TOEFL certificate)
  • Recommendation from the undergraduate thesis supervisors by entering name and email of the first supervisor in the provided online form.
  • Attaching a statement letter form ensuring the originality of the documents. The statement letter must be signed on a 6000 stamp duty. (The Statement Letter Form can be downloaded here)
  • Attaching proof of identity in the form of : Soft file of the most recent color passport photo (JPG, JPEG, PNG) with the maximum size of 2MB and soft file of scanned Identity Card (KTP)/Family Card (KK) (JPG, JPEG, PNG) which has been fix cropped with the maximum size of 2MB

For the Alumni of Bachelor of Pharmacy of Other Universities

  • The minimum B accreditation of the Undergraduate Study Program by attaching : A scan of the valid accreditation decree of the study program
  • Graduated with the Grade Point Average (IPK) ≥ 3.0 and maximum duration of study of 5 years by attaching : A scan of the original diploma of bachelor degree and a scan of the original academic transcript
  • Physically healthy proven by attaching : A scan of the original Physical Health Certificate from the government agencies (Community Health Centers or Hospitals)
  • Mentally healthy proven by attaching : A scan of the original Mental Health Certificate from psychiatrists of the Government Hospitals
  • Color Blindness Certificate certifying that the registrant is not color blind (A scan of the color blindness certificate from ophthalmologist)
  • A drug-free certificate (A scan of the original drug-free certificate)
  • Minimum CEPT/TOEFL score of 450 (A scan of the original CEPT/TOEFL certificate)
  • Recommendation from the undergraduate thesis supervisors by entering name and email of the first supervisor in the provided online form.

The Enrollment Process

The mechanism of the enrollment process of Student Admission for the 37th Professional Pharmacist Study Program are as follows:

The prospective students enroll online by visiting admisi.uii.ac.id

  1. Enter the Main Registration Number (NIU) & Password, for those who already have one.
  2. For those who do not have an NIU, select “Create Account”while preparing scanned Identity Card (KTP/SIM/KK) and official photo file, each file must not exceed 2MB and must be in JPEG/JPG/PNG format. After getting the NIU account & password, please take a good note of the account & password. Next, enter NIU & password in uii.ac.id (Click here for the tutorial on how to create NIU account)
  3. Purchasing the student admission form by selecting purchase the Online Test form
  4. Selecting the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and Professional Pharmacist
  5. After the process completion, the screen will show the billing numberto be used to complete the payment via Bank (can be done online).

The Tuition Fee includes : Learning Operational, Job Training, Local Examinations, and Graduation/Pharmacist Oath Fee. It excludes CBT and OSCE of the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Test Fee.

The partnership with the Pharmaceutical Industry IKOP IIUM Malaysia enable students to undergo Pharmaceutical Industry Professional Work Practices in Kuantan, Malaysia.
