Global Reach, European Partnership

Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII) actively participates in European Union (EU) funded programmes, particularly Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), to strengthen its global engagement. Through these initiatives, UII enhances institutional capacity and human resource development, expands international collaboration and global networks, and improves the quality of teaching and research.

These programmes support the internationalisation of curricula and study programmes, enable the transfer of knowledge and best practices from European partners, and encourage student independence, innovation, and global competitiveness. At the same time, UII contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating sustainability values into education, research, and community service.

What these programmes support
  • Institutional capacity & HR development
  • Joint curriculum & study programme design
  • Transfer of knowledge from European partners
  • Integration of SDGs into education and research
  • Student and staff mobility across borders
