International Relations (HI) Study Program is a study program designed for students who want to explore a science that discusses the interaction between various actors involved in international politics, such as: countries, international organizations, non-profit organizations, and certain entities such as bureaucracy and local government and individuals. The study of the interaction between the state and world actors is still a necessity, especially with the enactment of the current ASEAN Economic Community (MEA). Therefore, UII’s HI Study Program is committed to organizing a quality learning program that provides insights and skills on aspects of relations between nations.

Ull’s International Relations Study Program is Islamic in nature and excels in the studies of ASEAN and Islamic Political Ideas in Southeast Asia Region. Bachelors of International Relations are expected to have Islamic character, as well as analytical and practical reasoning in responding to various international phenomena. As a new study program, the accreditation used by Ull’s International Relations Study Program is equivalent to C. Currently, Ull’s International Relations Study Program is in the process of obtaining its accreditation.

Career Opportunities

International Relations graduates will have career opportunities to become diplomats, international cooperation staff in governmental and non-governmental institutions, assistants in researches on politics and international relations, NGO activists, lecturers, journalists and other professions.

STUDYING AT INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM

Bachelor of International Relations degree at Universitas Islam Indonesia is also offered at International Program (IP). IP is an international class organized by certain study programs within UII that use foreign languages (English and/or Arabic) as an introductory language.

IMPROVE YOUR INDONESIAN LANGUAGE SKILLS

If you are interested in studying in regular program, you must have a fluent communication skills, both oral and written, using Indonesian language. UII provides BIPA program to help you learn Indonesian language before starting your first semester.
