The graduate profile of the Doctor of Industrial Engineering Study Program of Univeristas Islam Indonesia is “Graduates who have the ability to engineer integral systems to increase productivity through innovative and original research results, the use of information technology, and upholding Islamic values and professionalism”. With such profile, the graduates of the Doctor of Industrial Engineering Study Program can work as an educator (especially lecturer), researcher, or decision maker in both government and private institutions that prioritize the use of information technology based on the industry 4.0, Islamic values, and professionalism.
The Doctor of Industrial Engineering Study Program aims to maintain the scientific fields of Industrial Engineering in the Body of Knowledge of Industrial Engineering and add a touch of scientific development with two main topics: (1) the design and improvement of integrated systems in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 and (2) Islamic values. Therefore, the Doctor of Industrial Engineering Study Program focuses on the scientific development of the following fields:
- Intelligent Supply Chain Management
- Intelligent Enterprise Management and Engineering
- Ergonomics, Work Safety, and Health Engineering
Career Opportunities
Researchers, academics, practitioners in national companies, multinational companies, state-owned enterprises, government agencies, educational institutions, and NGOs, and entrepreneurs
Registration Requirements and Procedures
Prospective Students of the Doctor of Industrial Engineering Study Program shall meet the following requirements:
- Complete the Registration Form and Upload the required registration files
- Pass the selection test (fulfillment of required documents and interview)
THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS consist of:
- Diploma/proof of graduation from the previous degrees (S1/D4 and S2*)
- Transcripts from the previous degrees (S1/D4 and S2*)
- Recommendation letters from 2 (two) people (lecturers or work supervisors)
- TOEFL or CEPT result (if any)
- Academic Potential Test result (if any)
- Proof of Payment of Registration Fee
- Scan of ID Card
- Passport-sized Photo (color)
- Curriculum Vitae (and list of publications)
- Research proposal
