UII students who are scholarship recipients are specially assisted by the University through UII DPK programs. DPK UII has formed a special unit or community called the  UII Excellent Community which consists of all students who are recipients of the Bidik Misi Scholarship, UII Superior Scholarship, and Hafidz/Hafizah Scholarship.

Programs for the UII Excellent Community are carefully designed and supervised by the Personality and Welfare Division of DPK UII, in collaboration with the UII Centre for Applied Technology, with hopes that students who are recipients of these scholarships are truly capable of becoming excellent individuals and are actively contributing in activities in and off campus.
