Engineer Professional Program
Faculty of Industrial Technology and Faculty of Civil Engineering & Planning
The Engineer Professional Program is a study program under the Faculty of Industrial Technology, working in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering & Planning. The establishment of the program has received full support from stakeholders such as the Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII), alumni, and industry partners, with various agreements signed. The program is nationally accredited with a “Good” rating by LAM Teknik.
The program is designed to produce professional engineers capable of independent or team-based engineering practice, upholding professional ethics and Islamic values, with qualifications recognized nationally and internationally.

Program Excellence Features
- International certification in systematic problem solving (TRIZ) with MATRIZ
- National certification in risk management and occupational health and safety (K3) with LSP UII
- Structured study on religious value integration in engineering professionalism through UII centers and external partners
Learning Model
Based on the scientist-practitioner model, assuming that students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Knowledge acquisition: Through classroom sessions and industry involvement
- Practical exposure: Mandatory internships supervised by internal faculty and external industry mentors
For experienced practitioners, the program offers a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) track allowing portfolio-based competency fulfillment.
Faculty Members
Includes 26 permanent lecturers (19 PhDs and 7 Masters), 5 of whom are full Professors.
All have professional engineer certifications (8 Principal Engineers – IPU, 18 Mid-level Engineers – IPM).
Industrial lecturers also hold at least IPM certification

- Regular Track – 2 semesters
- Semester 1: Lectures and tutorials
- Semester 2: Engineering practice
- RPL Track – 1 semester Based on formal/non-formal/informal education and work experience.
General Requirements
- Physically and mentally healthy, drug-free
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied engineering, technical education, or science with relevant engineering experience
Specific Requirements
a. Regular Track
- For bachelor’s graduates in technical fields
- Science or technical education grads require 3 years’ engineering experience
b. RPL Track
- Requires 2 years’ experience for engineering/applied engineering graduates
Admission Procedure
- Fill out registration form: uii.id/PSPPI
- Data verification.
- Complete payment and submit documents.
- Application review and selection.
- Results sent via email and WhatsApp.
- Classes begin according to UII academic calendar.
