Uniqueness and Excellence of the Study Program
The vision of the Master of Electrical Engineering Study Program (PSTE-PM FTI UII) is “to become an excellent Study Program at the international level by actively participating in education, research, and development of smart system technology for the welfare of the people by 2031”. The uniqueness of PSTE-PM FTI UII is in the development of smart systems, which are integrated with technological advances and the Internet of Things (IoT) as a holistic and adaptive solution to the problems in society and sustainable development. Through the designed curriculum, the graduate profile of PSTE-PM FTI UII is expected to have the ability to understand, analyze, design, and develop an engineering solution that is adaptive to technological and information changes to face globalization and the industrial era in the future. Their careers can range from researcher, educator/teacher/lecturer/trainer, project manager, to entrepreneur.
Career Opportunities
The PSTE-PM graduates can understand, analyze, design, and develop an engineering solution that is adaptive to technological and information changes to face globalization and the industrial era in the future. Some of the fields in which PSTE-PM graduates can play a role are: (1) renewable energy, (2) manufacturing automation, (3) transportation, (4) wireless communication, (5) health, and (6) agriculture. The role of PSTE-PM graduates in these fields can include:
- Researcher, contributing to the research and development of engineering design and science.
- Educator/lecturer/trainer, contributing to planning, implementing, and evaluating the knowledge transfer process to students.
- Manager, being responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, and making policies related to the projects handled.
- Technopreneur, being an entrepreneur who utilizes modern manufacturing technology for innovations in business.
Application Requirements and Procedures

- Prospective students are graduates (S1/D4) of Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Instrumentation Electronics, or other study programs, with an additional requirement of passing the matriculation program
- Fill out and submit the registration form
- Proof of payment of registration fee (IDR 300,000)
- An authenticated photocopy of S1/D4 diploma/certificate
- An authenticated photocopy of S1/D4 academic transcript (Minimum GPA = 2.75 on a scale of 4.00)
- A certificate of TOEFL
- An Academic Potential Test (TPA) certificate
- A recent passport-sized photo
