Developing Future Health Professionals: Driven by Knowledge, Research, and Policy Innovation

The Master of Public Health Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Islam Indonesia is established to develop knowledge and expertise, improve research capabilities, produce competent professionals, support the development of health policies, and encourage collaboration and innovation. The students of this program come from various backgrounds in bachelor of health, such as doctor, nursing, midwifery, public health, and those from other fields of study who are interested in studying the utilization of health big data. The graduates are expected to play the role of Researcher, Public Health Policy Maker, Big Data Manager, and Health Equity Creator. The graduates of this study program become much-needed professionals with the advantage of improved career opportunities, managerial and leadership skills, the ability to develop health programs, analytical and research skills, adaptability to various health contexts, and skills in the development of health policies.

The graduates of the Master of Public Health Study Program of UII can have careers in various sectors:

  1. Government agencies (Ministry of Health, Office of Health, National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN)): policy analyst, program manager, epidemiologist, head of control division, etc.
  2. Hospitals and Healthcare Services: health manager or administrator, program coordinator, etc.
  3. Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs): project coordinator, researcher, or advocacy specialist, working at local, national, or international levels
  4. Educational and Research Institutions: lecturer or lecturer and researcher
  5. Private sector: program developer, consultant, health promoter, etc.

Registration Requirements

  1. A scan of the original diploma/certificate and academic transcript
  2. A 1-page curriculum vitae and 1-page motivation letter (Download Template)
  3. Two letters of recommendation (Download form).
  4. A study permit for employees (Download form).
  5. A passport-sized photo with a blue background (maximum 1 MB)
  6. A scan of the original certificate of the English proficiency test and the academic potential test
  7. A signed Statement of Document Authenticity and statement of ability to pay (Download form).
  8. Register and submit the files through admisi.uii.ac.id
