The student graduated from magister of environmental engineering is designed that can work at several opportunities as follows:

Type of work Description
consultant Able to design buildings, environmental management systems that are safe, economical, and with due regard to economic, environmental, health, safety and sustainability components
Civil Servent Able to cooperate in analyzing, compiling and determining the direction of environmental management policies in government systems
Engineer Able to carry out process engineering activities or environmental management systems with due regard to economic, environmental, health, safety and sustainability components.
Manager Able to plan, manage, direct, and monitor an organizational governance system in the field of environmental engineering
Enterprenuer Able to develop independent business in the field of environmental engineering or in other fields so that it can contribute to job creation
Educator Able to develop a career as a professional educator in the field of environmental engineering.
Researcher Able to develop a career as a professional researcher in

environmental engineering

Procedure of enrollment:

  1. Completing the enrollment form manually, prioritizing the online form downloaded from www.master.civil.uii.ac.id
  2. Attaching required documents as follows:
  3. Two sheets of legalized copy of diploma of bachelor degree;
  4. Two sheets of legalized copy of academic transcript of bachelor degree;
  5. A CV with a 4×6 sized profile photo;
  6. Two sheets of the most recent 4×6 sized and 3×4 sized passport photos;
  7. A copy of Identity Card (KTP) and Family Card (KK);
  8. A copy of Birth Certificate;
  9. Civil servants must submit a permission letter from the work place institutions.
  10. Recommendation letters from an undergraduate thesis supervisor and or a supervisor at the work place.
  11. Copies of attained awards and achievements certificates.

Patterns of selection:

Participating requires to prepare the Academic Potential Test (TPA) and TOEFL score at minim of 500 and 475, respectively before graduation. The selection process will be conducted based on the documents review and interview.

Specific Patterns of Selection:

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the selection is conducted online based on the Grade Point Average (IPK) of bachelor degree, the accreditation of the origin University and Study Program, and online English Proficiency Test.

The components fee applied in the master of environmental engineering are described in the table below:

* Tuition fee required to be paid every semester. The students graduated not from bachelor of Environmental Engineering program, at Universitas Islam Indonesia will receive 25% discount from the amount above till the 4th semester.

** Matriculation fee requires for the candidate that not graduated from Environmental Engineering program.

The component fees above are not including fee for conducting research thesis because it depends on the research topic.

The master program in environmental engineering encourages the students to participate in the international mobility programs such as exchange students particularly conducting research thesis at the university partner in abroad, summer programs, double degree, credit transfer, and etc. Since, UII has more than 250 international partners around the world. It can be big opportunities to gain international experiences in order to expand knowledge and develop career at the international level.
