| Two UII Students to Join Youth Exchange Program Japan |

Anggun Pramuda Wardhani (Pharmacy Department student) and Muhammad Kholif Lir Widyo Putro (Architecture Department student) together with fellows from other university students will be scheduled to visit research institute and various heritage sites in Japan, on May 8-16, 2012. Through this program, Japanese government expects to promote mutual understanding among youth within region and provide opportunity for the next generation to be able to share their respective knowledge and experiences for their country. In addition, Japan embassy will support transportations, meals, accommodation fee of this program. Accompanied by Vice Rector III, Ir. Bachnas, M.Sc., Anggun Pramuda Wardhani and Muhammad Kholif Lir Widyo Putro met UII Rector, Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec on Wednesday (5/2). In this occasion, Rector gave his fully support to both of students. "We greatly appreciate this youth exchange program. But, you have to remember that you also carry the name of Universitas Islam Indonesia almamater in international level". He stressed out. |
