Internal Audit in Higher Education is Needed E-mail

ImageAs a private higher education institution, UII has to own quality standard which all units must meet in order to improve the quality of its institution. The role of internal audit is required by many institutions including higher education institution.

This statement was uttered by UII Rector Prof. Edy Suandi Hamid, M.Ec when attend Internal Quality Audit on Thursday (7/26) at UII main campus. By implementing Internal Quality Audit, both of education quality and graduates quality can be maintained well.

“Internal Audit can be used for controlling and developing higher education quality and progress. Thus, this attempt is intended to improve the work performance of all units at UII.” Rector uttered

The objective of Internal Quality Audit is to enhance UII’s accreditation. If Internal Quality Audit shows good result on work performance, it means that UII will be ready to meet accreditation requirement obtaining best accreditation in the future. “I do expect that internal audit must ensure transparency and accountability.” Prof Edy emphasized

Head of Quality Assurance Board (BPM) UII, Ir. Faisol AM, MS, mentioned that UII has implemented good quality assurance system since many universities have adapted and learnt UII’s quality assurance system. According to him, the Internal Quality Audit is intended for assessing and improving work performance of all units at UII.
