In this occasion, they were delighted to participate in FIMA poster competition and deliver their research result in front of the delegations from all over the world. dr. Syaefudin stated that the delegation of Faculty of Medicine UII became the best team from Indonesia who successfully include five best-poster presentation nominees among 33 participants. The participants came from 38 Muslim countries such as USA, Australia, South Africa, African, Arab and Middle East, and Asia. The delegations from Indonesia were Faculty of Medicine Yarsi, Faculty of Medicine Unisma, Faculty of Medicine UMY, Faculty of Medicine Unissula, Faculty of Medicine UB, Faculty of Medicine UI, Faculty of Medicine UISU and Faculty of Medicine UMS. "I am very happy and grateful for successfully attaining the runner up predicate in this competition and winning 600RM prize. In this competition, I brought my research entitled ‘Polimorfisme Gena Estrogen Reseptor Alfa, The Risk factor of Diabetes Mellitus in Postmenopausal Javanese Women.” dr. Syaefudin.
dr. Syaefudin also said that this achievement complements Faculty of Medicine UII attainment gaining A grade accreditation from National Accreditation Board FOR Higher Education. According to him, The next FIMA conference will be hold at Gaza Palestine. While, the 30th Council meeting of FIMA Executive Committee will take place in Cape Town, South Africa. It is expected that Faculty of Medicine UII can take part in this annual event next year.
